8 Reasons why she must write a book !
Or
8 Questions she must answer in her book !
After the, recently occurred, much popular controversy, where Smt. Sonia Gandhi was accused by the, former external affairs minister, Natwar Singh in his book, "One Life Is Not Enough", revealing many secrets of the UPA government and the Gandhi family, as he used to be very close to them, before leaving his position and the party in December 2005, under the allegations of illegal payoffs in the Iraqi Oil Scam.
To which Smt. Sonia Gandhi has replied that, "I will write my own book, and then you will know the truth." While the world is busy, speculating, that Natwar Singh's claims are true or false, he has fortunately provided a hope to the country, that we may get answers to many of our questions, that have been building up for decades. So I have listed down certain reasons that, "Why Smt. Sonia Gandhi must write a Book?" or say "What questions she must in her book"
1. Prime ministerial post in 2004: This is something, I am sure, every living being in India wants to know, Why she didn't become Prime Minister in 2004 ? While Natwar Singh's book claims, that it was Rahul Gandhi, who influenced his mother not to take the position as he was scared about her life, in the shadow of what happened to Shri Rajiv Gandhi and Smt. Indira Gandhi. But let's see, what she has to say about it. Why she has been the one, who was watching and governing the whole nation by operating a remote control ?
2. Why Manmohan Singh why not Pranab Mukherjee: This is something I personally want to know, Why she chose Mr. Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister and Why not Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, and keep Mr. Singh as the Finance Minister, despite of the performance shown by him in 1992 ? The focus of the question is not about choosing Pranab Mukherjee as the prime minister, but why she didn’t provide the finance ministry to Manmohan Singh ?
3. “How to make your son Vice president of a National party in 5 years ?”: No personal grudges and I am not disrespecting anyone, with due respect to, Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi, I want to know, how did she manage to make Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the vice president of Indian National Congress ? He didn’t have the required experience and I am not talking about the age, but the quality and quantity of work need to be done for the nation and the party. Family hierarchy has always been witnessed in Congress.
4. Subsidies and politics of the poor: Why trying to give subsidies to any and everyone in India as freebies ? UPA (United Progressive Alliance) was always interested in providing free subsidies to all instead of providing employment to the needy and deserving, And make them self-dependent. It never tried to make the poor ones rich, rather made them poorer and never provided an opportunity to grow. It used the poor ones as their vote bank by waving off their pending electricity bills and taxes, not once, not twice but every year. (While talking about subsidies I am not saying that subsidies should be entirely banned, but they should be provided only where it’s needed the most as It increases the burden on the national economy).
5. Reservation and Politics of Religion: Why reservation on the basis of religion ? Earlier it was “Reservation on the basis of caste”, UPA tried several times to impose “Reservation on the basis of religion”. Instead of improving the laws of reservation, so that benefits could be provided just to the needy, they continued to weaken the democracy by providing reservation to several other castes under several other categories. When people from other parties tried to scrap the whole reservation system and form a new law, undertaking “Reservation on the basis of Income”, UPA even didn’t entertained it at all. There has always been talking about reservation for Muslims and other minorities, and Congress is still going with it in Maharashtra. And then they expect the citizens of the country to live peacefully and call India a Secular state.
6. Silence on Black Money and Thrashing those who tried to protest: Let it be, Arresting Anna Hazare or the Lathi charge on Baba Ramdev and supporters, Congress always tried to suppress those who raised their voices and took a stand on corruption and black money. UPA never gave a satisfactory answer on “Why they arrested Anna Hazare?”, although the Lathi charge at Ram Lila Maidan was supported on the basis of terrorism threat, which was not the case at all, as there are always better ways to save people from terrorism as compared to Lathi charge.
7. Largest number of Scams and Governments Pathetic approach: Coal Scam, Cash for Vote Scam, Chopper Scam, Tatra Truck Scam, Commonwealth Games Scam, 2-G Scam, Adarsh Society Scam ! In 10 years of UPA’s service a scam was witnessed and proved in almost every sector of India. I want to know that whether "Madam ji" was always and totally unaware about all of these ? Despite of the fact that she was always the focal point of all the policies and decisions made by the government. Also, why the government was very slow and unwilling in taking decisions against the accused ? Let it be Kalmadi, A. Raja or Ashok Chavan, the Congress initially never accepted the fault and tried to defend the accused every time.
8. Always very kind approach towards Pakistan and the matter of Kashmir: UPA never tried to resolve the Kashmir issue, they never tried to end the entire problem rather even made it worse and complicated. Let it be beheading the Indian soldiers, breaking cease-fire or any other issue, Congress never took a strong step to resolve all this, rather remained silent and appointed “Time” to heal the issues.

These are some of the very basic issues and questions which
Smt. Sonia Gandhi must answer. I can guarantee if she would throw some light on these
issues and clarify the misconceptions (if any), her book could be very
productive and helpful for the nation and will become a best seller soon. The content mentioned above is not meant to disrespect or hurt anybody, I have asked few general questions being a citizen of India.
