5 strange Things Banned around the world …

World is seriously Surprising, some governments, some ideologies can sometime make very strange laws, to protect "the sacredness". While browsing the internet I found some very strange facts about certain countries. Video Games and Consoles are banned in China & Denmark, Emo dresses are banned in Russia, Jasmine Flower is banned in China; and the list continues.

Below I have listed 5 most fascinating "bans" around the world, and obviously I didn't went around the world to find these, So Evidently Source is Internet.

Denmark - No New Baby Names: Denmark’s government has interestingly very stringent laws for New Born Child Names. They have currently a list of around 24,000 names, just out of which a parent can select name for their Newbie born. In case you want to keep some other name, you have to seek government permission for an exception. Denmark has even banned fortified snacks.

Singapore - Chewing Gum is Banned: In Singapore, a student would never find a chewing gum under his desk or on his bench. The government has banned import or possession of Chewing Gum since early nineties. According to Government Spokesmen, Chewing Gums result in “Littering & Vandalism” [A point well taken, being an Indian I can observe that very well]. Also government claims that, before the ban, subways had been delayed because people used to stuck gum between carriage  doors, preventing them from closing.

Australia - Porn Featuring Small Breasts: [Sorry to write this, but it’s indeed surprising] According to Australian Government, If you are an Adult Women in Australia with a cup breasts, You Do Not Exist. OR If you are man who likes to watch Porn of Women with small breasts, you secretly love child Porn. Actually the logic is to illegalize “Child Porn”, for that Australian Classification Board has actually banned many such movies in which women Breasts doesn’t seemed like 18 year Old.

China - Reincarnation without prior consent: Has this law been in India, we won’t be having so many Dharm Gurus, and “Godmen”. China’s government has issued strict laws, that Reincarnation of some God or Faith is illegal without Prior Consent to the government. Although this is government’s own way to take over Tibetan Buddhists by trying to rule over one of their most sacred beliefs. This is also one of the reasons Why Dalai Lama is not allowed in China.

Saudi Arabia - Valentine’s Day: I personally don’t like people who put any kind of restrictions on Love. In Saudi Arabia, Valentine’s Day is banned, because it is believed that it’s against Muslim Beliefs. Although the country has a huge Black Market of products that are sold on Valentine’s day on around 5 times the original price.
